the food
100/10 I mean look at those quesobirria tacos !! Compliments to Chef Tasharys and her entire team for working together to cook the mouth watering food here.
Overall, the quality of the food was fresh. Presentation was exactly what you want.

the drinks
10/10 classic margarita. The menu overall might seem underwhelming but it has the best of the best Mexican options. I rather have a small and perfectly executed Mexican only menu vs a “mexican restaurant” that is also selling hamburgers and pizza.
the service
10/10 from start to finish. Friendly, helpful and the service is fast overall. It felt like I had my entire order in less than 5 minutes.

10/10 flavor, food, service and cost. Cartagena is full of incredible places to eat and Taco Gordo is one of them! I cannot wait to return and try each item on the menu.
Especially keen to try the Puerquito, Pastor tacos and Birriamen!
Overall, the space is small with 5 tables and four seats at the bar. It is cool to watch the chefs cook right in front of you. Two women running the kitchen while I was there. Made me wonder if the restaurant is woman owned. Happy to support this place.
