At 31, I retired from corporate health care. My goal was simple: spend one year island hopping in French Polynesia. Island paradise scuba diving with whales and sharks. Somehow that one year turned into four. Then I sold my house, bought a Toyota Tacoma and built an overland set-up. My dog, Porter and I decided to drive from USA to Ushuaia, Argentina aka the 'end of the world'. Sadly after exploring ten countries together, Porter passed away in Colombia from liver cancer. I stored the truck in Colombia, returned and finished the trip in 35 months. I'm back in the US for a few sleeps and then I'm off to Spain where I may or maynot buy a Porsche for a grand European adventure.
