There are a dozen rooftop bars in Cartagena and Townhouse is always top of the list. From the views to the food, drinks and service let’s talk about what makes Townhouse worth a visit.
the views

Head up to the 5th floor to take in the historic domes, churches, and colonial buildings from an entirely new angle. On Sundays from 11-3 Townhouse hosts a bottomless mimosa brunch. Very popular and there is plenty of shade. Every other day of the week, sunset is the best time to be on a rooftop.

the food
Overall, the quality of the food was fresh. Presentation was good. That being said, the portion of these fish tacos are small. I’ve actually never seen tacos so small and the prices are double what you would pay at an actual Mexican restaurant in Cartagena.

the drinks

100/10 classic margarita
the service
100/10 from start to finish. Friendly, fast, helpful. Answered every question, offered recommendations, and took photos and videos for every single guest.
the design

In love with this space.
There are two pools and lots of lounge spots. Consider a boozy brunch, a casual lunch, or a night packed with music and cocktails.

would love to know where they got this tile from
overall
8/10 the views, the drinks, service and design is spectacular. The price however, is not. Highly recommend Townhouse Rooftop bar for happy hour and then find yourself some excellent food off site. Cartagena is full of incredible places to eat.
