Hi, I’m Ashley and for the last three and a half years I have been traveling the world solo.
Along the way I have shared small parts of my journey on social media and started running my own travel website. This year, I made the difficult choice to sell my childhood home. Even though it was difficult to say goodbye, I know incredible people and places all around the world are waiting.
Life Before Travel
Before I started traveling full time, I had very little knowledge of how to travel to other countries. The only international trips my household took was watching Brooke Burke on the Travel Channel.
It really wasn’t until social media came along that I could see other men and women out in the world living my dream life.
The next big adventure
Will be traveling the world with my window licking copilot, Porter. We will travel by land in an overland set-up and the wild plan is to go completely around the world.
Now that I have a few miles under my belt I can confidentially share that traveling to a new country is not as scary or complex as it initially seems. Part of the motivation behind these videos is to give back to the travel community and future travelers of the world. To document and share as much useful information as I can.
A few goals
As Porter and I travel around the globe I will do my best to publish a video for each country and feature shorter videos in between.
We will travel slow and spend 3-4 weeks in each country. Explore the land, go to the mountains, and spend days out on the sea living our best lives. From the high risk activities like swimming with whales and sharks to the less life-threatening parts of travel like finding the best places to eat.
